My years of experience working around the world in the music industry have given me a unique perspective. My strengths are being able to recognize and access the very best of people’s abilities, helping them to tap into their highest potential. I am very good at visualizing how to expand a company’s service and identifying gaps in the market. This can create new perspectives and goals through strategy planning, leading to delivery of a successful outcome. I am taking my range of skills that I perfected over the years from my background in music management, artist development, and events, and combining this with all that I have learned from starting up my own Business and training and developing our team. Throughout the past two years I’ve have been extremely fortunate to work with Dina Vass in her capacity as an Executive Coach and more recently as a Creative Consultant. Being a Business Development Director at Warner Bros. for the Harry Potter Global Franchise Development team means I work on some of the entertainment industry’s most exciting and challenging projects. My role has involved dealing with complex negotiations, resolving challenging operational issues and developing the long-term strategy for the franchise and associated presentations for Warner Bros.’ most senior management level. It would have been challenging to excel in my role without Dina’s highly effective coaching. After a few weeks of discussing my business with her, Dina came up with an idea for my salon, and made suggestions which I found to be really inspiring. She came up with an idea where my salon could specialise in children’s hair cuts and styling, as many adult salons don’t tend to deal well with cutting children’s hair. Dina had researched this thoroughly and noticed it was niche in the market. She created a logo for me, and designed and built a section within my shop floor, and created a truly amazing space for children to have their hair cut and styled with an area for mum’s to have a coffee and a little break.
